Case study: Přístav 18600

Project Description

Port 18600 is a project in Prague’s Karlín district that offers visitors not only a seating area with a bar during the season, but also cultural and sporting activities. The client did not have access to a water connection at the site and therefore needed to create a drinking water reservoir essential for the operation of the facility.

Specific Challenges

Our entire solution was in operation for four months, in all weather conditions. The challenge was to design a solution capable of withstanding such prolonged continuous operation with minimal risk of failure or accident.

Solution

We installed a 10 m³ water bag on-site. This bag keeps the water potable, which was essential for a food service operation given the high hygiene standards. We then used a pump to transfer water from the bag to the facility, ensuring a constant and sufficiently high pressure.

Key Outcomes

  • A solution that functioned flawlessly for 4 months of operation
  • Technicians were on standby to respond to service calls
